LaSalle Garage to Close for Maintenance, July 11 to July 13

Universal Parking will close the LaSalle Garage from 6 p.m. on Friday, July 11, to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, for sweeping, degreasing and pressure washing.

During the closure, parking will be available at the Saratoga Garage. All vehicles must be returned to the LaSalle Garage by the end of the day of Sunday, July 13.

Newcomb Place Closure, July 10 to July 20

Newcomb Place, between Willow Street and Drill Road, will be fully closed in both directions from Thursday, July 10 to Sunday, July 20.
 
Traffic entering Tulane’s uptown campus should use Audubon Street at Willow Street to access Newcomb Circle. Vehicles may exit via McAlister Drive at Willow Street.
 
This closure is due to ongoing work by the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO), and the timeline is subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen conditions.

Weinmann Road Closure, July 2

Weinmann Road will be closed to parking and traffic on Wednesday, July 2. This closure is due to a crane that will be parked on Weinmann Road for repairs to Weinmann Hall. Please pay attention to all signs and directions from construction personnel.   

Downtown After-Hours Student Parking Permits Expire June 30

Effective June 30, 2025, 11:59 p.m., all active Downtown After-Hours Student Parking Permits will be cancelled in our system and garage access will be removed from your Splash Card. If you still need and qualify for this permit, you will need to complete and submit a new application starting July 1, 2025. Going forward, your permit will expire annually on June 30 11:59 p.m. and you will need to re-apply for this permit each year.  

Uptown Parking Restrictions for June 11 to July 3

The southbound side of Newcomb Place between Willow Street and Drill Road will be closed from Wednesday, June 11 to Sunday, June 22. During this time, four (4) spaces on each side of the fire lane on the northbound side of Newcomb Place along the median and four (4) spaces on the residence hall side will be blocked. Newcomb Place can be accessed from Newcomb Circle off Audubon Street.
 
The northbound side of Newcomb Place from Drill Road to Willow Street will be closed from Monday, June 23 to Thursday, July 3.
 
These closures are due to a Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans project. These dates are subject to change based on weather conditions and any unforeseen issues uncovered during this project.
 
Please pay attention to all signage, barricades, and construction personnel.
