Audubon Street between Plum Street and Newcomb Circle will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 29. This closure will accommodate an HVAC duct delivery for the Newcomb Hall renovation project. During this time, drivers should expect limited access in the area and plan alternate routes.
Also on Friday, May 29, a brief traffic disruption is expected on Broadway Street between Birch Street and Willow Street as part of the Unified Green Project. From 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., crews will unload an oversized long-reach excavator, temporarily blocking the southbound lane. Traffic will be detoured through nearby neighborhood streets via Lowerline Street to Plum Street before returning to Broadway Street. The detour is expected to last approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Motorists are advised to use caution, allow extra travel time and follow posted signage and traffic control directions during these activities.
