A contractor will be on-site repairing the exit grille of the Murphy Garage on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
On Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to noon the contractor will block the exit while working on the grille. When the exit is blocked, contract holders will exit through the entrance. Allied Universal Security officers will be present in the garage to assist with traffic flow.
The Tulane Green Wave football team will host a home game against the University of South Alabama at Yulman Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. All parking spaces will be used for fan parking on gameday except for designated student resident parking areas.
Students with resident parking permits must park on the top two floors (fifth and sixth floors) of the Diboll Parking Garage. Residential students are required to move their vehicles before 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.
The Diboll Parking Garage will be restricted to Resident Student Permits starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11. Anyone parked elsewhere on the uptown campus who is not a student with a resident parking permit is required to park off-site by 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11.
Regular parking operations will resume two hours after the end of the game on Saturday, Sept. 12. This two-hour window will allow fans to leave campus safely and mitigate traffic problems.
We ask for your continued cooperation in helping us prevent the need to tow vehicles. Any vehicles parked in violation of gameday restrictions after 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 will be ticketed and relocated to Engineering Road. Vehicles towed due to game-day parking restrictions must be removed from Engineering Road by 8 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14.

The 2026-27 uptown parking permits are now available for purchase. All 2025-26 parking permits will expire on Sunday, Aug. 31. You can purchase a 2026-27 parking permit online via the Parking Services permit portal.
Please keep in mind that to process your permit, the name of your department and your license plate number on your account must be accurate.
You will not be able to purchase or renew your permit if you have any outstanding citations.
You can pay for an outstanding balance via tulane.aimsparking.com before purchasing a 2026-27 parking permit.
Anyone parking on the uptown campus must follow the parking rules and regulations.
Tulane University will welcome approximately 5,000 students to campus for the fall 2026 semester, beginning Sunday, Aug. 9, at 8 a.m. To support these move-in activities, uptown campus parking restrictions will be in place all day Friday, Aug. 7, until Saturday, Aug. 15, at 6 p.m.

Campus entry from Claiborne Avenue via Ben Weiner Drive will be limited to students and their families. All parking spaces between Willow Street and Claiborne Avenue, including Diboll Garage, will be reserved for students.

Move-in may make traveling to and from work challenging. Please consider alternative options if they are available to you.
Departments should avoid scheduling visitors or deliveries during this time, to accommodate move-in operations.

Due to weather-related construction delays, the closure of Newcomb Circle will remain in effect through at least Sunday, July 26. Newcomb Circle is closed to vehicles, pedestrians and golf carts while drainage connection work continues as part of the ongoing demolition project. Work is scheduled between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.
Parking permit holders and campus visitors should expect traffic detours and restricted access around Newcomb Circle during the closure. Barricades, fencing and traffic control measures are in place. Motorists should follow posted detour routes and directions from flaggers in the area. Construction activities will include excavation and material movement that may affect traffic flow near the work zone.
The closure was originally scheduled to end earlier but has been extended through July 26 because of recent weather impacts. An updated reopening date will be shared once construction is complete.
