Please review the following alert from Tulane University Facilities Services. Please note that some of the fifth floor of the Tidewater Garage will be unavailable for parking as fireproofing is installed. This work is expected to take place from Monday, Oct. 14 until Sunday, Oct. 20.
- Location: Tidewater Building, Seventh-Floor Plant and Parking Garage
- Start: Monday, Oct. 14 at 7 a.m.
- End: Sunday, Oct. 20 at 5 p.m.
- Purpose: To install fireproofing on the new steel beams in preparation for the new air-cooled chiller and generator.
- Impact: There will be no shutdowns associated with this work. Occupants of the building may see the team as they make their way to the seventh-floor plant and the parking garage. A portion of the garage on the fifth floor will be sectioned off as the fireproofing is applied to various beams in the area. There will be no parking allowed in the sectioned-off area.
