Tulane National Primate Research Center Building 21 Surgical Addition

Building 21 Surgical Addition will provide a new central surgical facility for the TNPRC. The addition will be added onto the east side of Building 21, increasing the existing 17,725GSF footprint by 4,263 GSF. In addition, a 2,216 GSF rooftop penthouse will be added to house mechanical and electrical equipment. A 300 GSF enclosure is also required over the existing building to provide conditioned space interconnecting the new and existing penthouses for piping and ductwork. Overall size of the surgical addition including the penthouse connector will be 6,779 GSF
