Citations

All Tulane University students, faculty, staff, vendors, affiliates, and visitors are required to follow parking rules and regulations. If parking rules and regulations are not followed, anyone parking on campus is subject to citation. All citations must be paid in a timely manner.

ATTENTION FACULTY & STAFF: Paying Parking Citations

Parking Services reminds faculty and staff that parking citation fees cannot be deducted from payroll. Due to system and policy limitations, all citations must be paid manually by the individual using the online portal.

Important Boot Policy Reminder

Vehicles are subject to immobilization (booting) when both of the following conditions are met:

  • Two (2) or more outstanding citations totaling $50 or more, and
  • Citations remain unpaid for 10 or more business days

Deadline to Avoid Booting

Faculty and staff with outstanding citations must submit payment by July 31 to avoid enforcement action, including vehicle booting. Please know that any Tulane faculty or staff with outstanding citations will need to pay these citations to be able to purchase a parking permit at the start of the following academic year for yearly permits or the start of the next semester for semesterly permits.
