Several upcoming events will impact parking from Monday, March 31 to Monday, April 7. On Saturday, April 5, Tulane University will host Crawfest on the uptown campus. Due to the number of campus visitors, we anticipate an increase in traffic on and around the uptown campus.
Uptown campus parking and traffic will be impacted to support Crawfest and other upcoming events, as follows:
Monday, March 31 to Tuesday, April 1
- Six (6) spaces on Drill Road closest to McAlister Drive along the Berger Family Lawn will be blocked.
Tuesday, April 1 - Five (5) spaces on Newcomb Place along the Berger Family Lawn close to the Malkin Sacks Commons will be blocked.
- Four (4) spaces on Newcomb Place along the middle of Newcomb Quad will be blocked.
Wednesday, April 2
- Five (5) spaces on Newcomb Place along the Berger Family Lawn close to the Malkin Sacks Commons will be blocked.
- Five (5) spaces on Cowen Circle at the entrance will be blocked.
Thursday, April 3 through Friday, April 4
- All parking spaces on Drill Road will be blocked.
Thursday, April 3 through Sunday, April 6
- Seven (7) spaces on Newcomb Place along the Newcomb Quad will be blocked.
- All spaces on Newcomb Place along the Berger Family Lawn will be blocked.
Friday, April 4 starting at 10 p.m. through Saturday, April 5
- Newcomb Place at Willow Street, Newcomb Place at Freret Street, Drill Road, McAlister Drive, and Newcomb Circle will be closed to parking and traffic.
Monday, April 7
- Five (5) spaces on Newcomb Place along the middle of Newcomb Quad will be blocked.
- Eight (8) spaces on Newcomb Place along the Berger Family Lawn close to the Malkin Sacks Commons will be blocked.
- Three (3) spaces on Law Road between F. Edward Hebert Hall and Robert C. Cudd Hall along the fence line will be blocked.
