Uptown Parking and Traffic Restrictions, June 22 to 24

There are several events and projects coming up that will impact parking and traffic on the Tulane University uptown campus from Monday, June 22 to Wednesday, June 24. These closures are to accommodate various construction related projects.

Monday, June 22

  • 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Law Road will be closed at Alcee Fortier Hall. A turnaround will be available between Mussafer Hall and Alcee Fortier Hall for those needing to exit onto St. Charles Avenue.  Personnel will be onsite to assist with traffic flow. 
  • 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Audubon Street between Newcomb Circle and Plum Street will be closed to vehicular traffic.

Tuesday, June 23

  • 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Three parking spaces on Engineering Road behind Walter E. Blessey Hall, including the two ADA parking spaces, will be blocked. The two ADA spaces will be relocated behind Boggs Center for Energy & Technology.
  • 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Newcomb Circle at Newcomb Hall will be closed. Limited parking will be available near the Newcomb Art Museum, with exit via Audubon Street.

Wednesday, June 24

  • 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Two parking spaces on Engineering Road behind Boggs Center for Energy & Technology will be blocked.
