The Office of Sustainability is proud to announce that Tulane achieved a Silver rating for its Sustainability Tracking and Rating System (STARS) report in 2025. The STARS report offers a comprehensive assessment of the activity across the university to advance sustainability. STARS is a program of AASHE, the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.
The university’s performance in the Food and Dining category of the STARS report is recognized for high performance among our peers in the 2025 Sustainable Campus Index. A publication from AASHE, the Sustainable Campus Index recognizes top-performing sustainable colleges and universities overall and in 13 impact areas, as measured through the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS®).
