There will be a temporary road closure that will affect traffic circulation near Newcomb Hall on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to maintenance work taking place on the exterior of the building.
During this time, Newcomb Circle directly in front of Newcomb Hall will be closed to vehicle traffic. The closure is necessary to accommodate equipment required for the project and will remain in effect throughout the scheduled work period. Motorists traveling through the area should plan alternate routes and allow additional time when arriving on campus.
While the section of Newcomb Circle immediately in front of Newcomb Hall will be inaccessible, vehicles can access Newcomb Circle on the Newcomb Art Museum side and exit on Audubon Street throughout the project, helping to maintain circulation in the surrounding area.
