Part-Time Parking

Do I need a parking permit?

All vehicles parked on campus must have an active parking permit displayed in their vehicle. Permits can be purchased from the Campus Services office in the Lavin-Bernick Center. The vehicle registration form is available for download. Once completed, bring your payment and the completed form to our office in the Lavin-Bernick Center. Part-time permits can be paid by credit card, cash or check. We are not able to accept American Express. Parking zones are strictly regulated to ensure there are spaces available for valid permit holders.

What is a Part-Time Permit

Part-Time permits are valid Monday through Friday from 8 am to 11 am in the Diboll Garage and Claiborne Avenue Lot and from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm in other areas of campus. Please see the campus map for all parking options. Part-Time permits are never valid in Newcomb Circle and Cowen Circle. Part-Time permits are great for someone who starts their day early at Tulane and leaves before 11:00 am or who doesn't need to come to campus before 3:00 pm.

Who can purchase a Part-Time Permit

Commuting students who do not need to have a vehicle on campus during the middle of the day can purchase a part-time permit.

Reily members can purchase a part-time permit.

Part-time faculty and staff as well as faculty and staff who work non traditional hours can purchase a part-time permit.
