BLD Services will be on campus completing inspections on the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board’s sewer mains on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 8 a.m. through Wednesday, Sept 4 at 3 p.m. During this time, there will be intermittent street and sidewalk closures on Newcomb Place, Drill Road, and the sidewalk between Warren Hall and Katherine & William Mayer Residences. Several parking spaces around the inspection sites will be blocked. Please pay attention to all signs, barriers, and construction personnel.
Do you park on Tulane University's uptown campus? Permits from 2023-24 expire on Saturday, Aug. 31. Be sure to renew your permit for 2024-25 today!
All parking permits for Tulane’s uptown campus are digital. All digital parking permits will be monitored by a parking enforcement vehicle equipped with cameras that read license plates. Please make sure your license plate faces the driving lane when you park on the uptown campus.
To ensure the cameras read license plates accurately, when entering your license plate information, please follow these instructions:
- If you have a zero on your plate that is the letter "O" on your vehicle registration: enter your vehicle twice: once with the number zero (0) and once with the letter "O."
- If you have a specialized plate: enter your plate exactly as it appears on your license plate not on the vehicle registration. For example, a Tulane personalized plate may only show the number (123), but on the vehicle registration it may show TU and the number (TU123). You must enter only the 123 shown on your license plate.
Please check that your license plate information is correct before processing your permit. Outstanding citations must be paid before renewal. Please review the parking rules and permit options before renewal. Pay citations and purchase new permits at tulane.aimsparking.com.
The area between the Malkin Sacks Commons and Dixon Hall may experience possible traffic delays on Wednesday, April 29 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. This possible traffic delay is due to the relocation of trees on Newcomb Place between Howard-Tilton Memorial Library and Joseph Merrick Jones Hall.
Audubon Street between Newcomb Circle and Plum Street will be closed to parking and vehicular traffic on Wednesday, April 29 from noon to 3 p.m. This closure is due to a delivery for the Newcomb Hall renovation project.
Please pay attention to all signs and directions from construction personnel.
Facilities Services will transport a lift on Law Road to perform work at Tilton Memorial Hall on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. During this time, the entrance to Law Road at St. Charles Avenue will be closed. Permit holders will be able to access Law Road from Freret Street. A Parking Services staff member will be on-site to assist with parking. The road closure will make way for a crane to load tiles for roof repair projects on campus.

This is just a friendly reminder: If you leave your vehicle parked in the Diboll Parking Garage over the summer, please park your vehicle on the 5th floor of the garage.
As per our parking rules and regulations, "annual cleaning of the garage begins the Monday following Commencement and lasts approximately four weeks. The 5th floor will always be available for parking. Signs will be placed on other floors and ramps to advise when floors and ramps are closed to parking. Vehicles parked in the garage (stored) over the summer or for an extended period of time that would hinder cleaning must be parked on the 5th floor. Vehicles parked on floors designated as 'no parking' will be relocated at the owner’s expense plus an administrative fee."
By parking your vehicle on the 5th floor over the summer, Parking Services will be able to perform any necessary work in the garage. We appreciate your cooperation.
