Richardson Hall 1st Floor Renovation
Tulane University Richardson Building First Floor Renovation will create a new home for Tulane’s Office of Multicultural Affairs (a.k.a. The “O”) and the Center for Academic Equity (a.k.a. CEA). The project consists of renovating the majority of the first floor including rearranging existing shared functions on the floor (such as restrooms, storage, classrooms, mechanical and electrical spaces). The Auditorium (Room 117) and storage beneath the auditorium will not be part of the scope, outside of adding a second door for egress purposes on the east side. The renovation for The “O” and CAE will create offices for staff as well as desk space for graduate students, a conference room, lounge, warming kitchen, informal sitting area and multipurpose room. The project will also consist of relocating 2 general pool classrooms.
