Construction Alert – Commons – Crane Demobilization

Starting Thursday, June 21st, the Commons project general contractor will begin the process of demobilizing the large crane on the construction site. The demobilization of the crane is expected to take approximately a week as it is disassembled and the parts are removed from the site by trucks. During this time, there may be some increased traffic on Freret Street due to the trucks entering and leaving the construction site. Flagmen will be present during these activities to help control traffic.
