HVAC

The Tulane University HVAC department is responsible for maintaining temperature and humidity in classrooms, labs, and offices in order to provide a comfort level that is conducive to a learning environment for all students, faculty and staff. The majority of these buildings are remotely monitored through a campus wide building automation system to ensure cost-efficient performance. Building HVAC systems operation parameters are scheduled through this system and provides information to the HVAC technicians in the field to analyze and fix related problems. The HVAC department is also responsible for preventive maintenance, lubrication, belts, filters  and repairs of all air handling units on campus and of small refrigeration systems, including water coolers, and icemakers and for trouble shooting and calibrating HVAC direct digital control throughout the entire system.
