Services have resumed their normal operating hours and in response to the ongoing Boil Water Advisory put in place by the City of New Orleans, all on-campus food service locations will use bottled water in food and beverage preparation until the advisory is lifted. Click here for the recommendations from the City of New Orleans regarding the advisory. During the advisory, residential and off-campus students can boil their tap water (click here for recommendations on how to safely boil water for consumption) or purchase bottled water from area retail establishments.
Beginning at 10:00am, students, faculty, and staff will also have access to hydration stations throughout campus. We suggest that you bring your reusable water bottle to fill at these stations. Hydration stations will be available in the following locations:
- Drawing Board Café
- PJ’s at Stern Hall
- PJ’s at Willow
- Lavin-Bernick Center
- Reily Student Recreation Center
Additionally, please note that the water pressure in your residence hall is expected to be low. Facilities Services is currently unable to address low water pressure as it is the result of low water pressure city-wide.
